According to the agency, the yield from foreign tourism in the first quarter of 2008 is 1,361 million USD, which is 28.9 percent more than 305 million higher than the same year previous year.
In the year 2017, foreign revenue from US $ 2.7 billion (growth of 28.1 percent) amounted to $ 594 million over the same period last year. The share of tourism in the GDP is projected by 7.1 percent of the GDP in the first quarter of the year 2018.
In addition, according to the National Tourism Administration, revenues from international tourism in 2011 amounted to 955 million US dollars. Accordingly, in 2017, international tourism income increased by 183 percent compared to 2011.
