June 1 is the International Children’s Day. Events are planned in Georgia too.
The Kutaisi parliament offers cultural-cognitive activities to children from Imereti, Guria, Adjara, Racha-Lechumi and Kvemo Svaneti villages and towns. In Kutaisi Lado Meskhishvili Theater children will attend the performance “Where my house is.” The program starts at 11:00 and will last till 18:00.
The event will be held at the Training Center of Justice at 11:00.
At 11:00, the Public Defender will hold a presentation on the child’s rights situation.
Zugdidi City Hall will give free ice cream to children.
This was first reported in 1925 at the Geneva International Conference, which was strengthened in 1949, after World War II, when the world was a future generation.
The International Children’s Day was first celebrated in 1950.
